Judith Ann Trumble

Judith Trumble (Robinson) was born January 3, 1947 in Lansing, Michigan, the daughter of the late Richard and Viva Robinson and passed away peacefully into the arms of her heavenly father on January 2, 2021 on the eve of her 74th birthday. She was a 1965 graduate of Lansing Sexton High School and was a longtime member of Olivet Baptist Church. Judi was employed as a medical receptionist for many years.

Judi was a loving sister, mom, and grandma. She was an avid fan who liked watching MSU Spartans, Detroit Tigers, and NASCAR on television. She enjoyed listening to Country, Christian, and Christmas music. She will miss her cats, Colby and Carrie. We all loved her homemade Chocolate Fudge and Peanut Butter Fudge. Her grandchildren have fond memories of her making them Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwiches, served with Cheetos and a can of their favorite pop while watching a Disney movie.

Judi was preceded in death by her parents, brother James Robinson, and brother-in-law Okey Manning, Jr. and was joyously welcomed by them. Judi joins her long-time, dear friend of 50 years, Susan Boughner and they celebrated their heavenly birthdays together. Surviving to cherish her memory are daughters, Tami (Chris) Muethel and Debi (Jeff) Shetterly and son, Christopher (Robin) Trumble; 8 grandchildren, Alexa (Kevin) Gordon, Aubree Muethel, Darynn Trumble, Liam Shetterly, Drew Trumble, Tenaya Trumble, Keira Shetterly, and Isaac Trumble; sister, Joni Manning; sister-in-law Leanor Robinson; father of her children, Tom Trumble; aunt, Doris Graham; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Judi’s family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of the Assisted Breathing Unit at Masonic Pathways (Alma, MI) for their care of Judi for the past 10 months. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation of your choosing in memory of Judi. A celebration of life and graveside service will be held at a later date at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens (Lansing, MI). The family of Judi have entrusted her care and cremation to Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel.
