Judy Van Camp

Age 69, Judy passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 27, 2011. Judy, or ?Sunshine? as she was referred to, was a true leader and a mentor to others. She worked for Accident Fund since she was 18, and retired after 36 years of loyal service. She had an absolute love of animals and was a dedicated volunteer to many organizations. She was a 22 year survivor of cancer but never complained, and overcame many obstacles. Every day she made a point to do something for someone else, for she loved everyone and was loved by any who met her. Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Forster & Mary Behnke; and her brother Gerald Merl Behnke. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Jim Van Camp; children Jim Van Camp, Lisa Van Camp, Amy Van Camp; grandchildren Chris Owens, Thomas (Lindsey) Owens; great grandchildren Zaniel James Owens, Tristen Marie Owens, Joshua James Owens; her beloved dog Misty; and numerous friends and relatives. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 11:30 ? 3:00 P.M. on Friday, November 4, 2011 at the Cadgewith Farms Clubhouse, 300 Cadgewith W., Lansing.
