Judy Kay Finney

Judy was grateful for such a large family who were all so good to her. Surviving are her son, Jeffery (Karri) Finney; daughter, Dana (Chris) Edmondson; grandchildren, Kaylee, Erica, and Carson Finney, Marisa (Tyson) Jones, Jordan (Montana) Gillett, and two step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Gary Porter.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Ron (Nan) Porter, Sharon (Jim) Hoppes, and Shirley (Tim) Glynn; nephews, Joseph Hoppes and John Mushung; sister-in-law, Adriana Porter; dear friends, Claude Young, Irene Mitchell, and Margaret Gutchess.

Judy was a 1962 graduate of J.W. Sexton High School. She enjoyed baking and sharing goody treats with family, friends, and neighbors. In retirement, employed by Farm Bureau Insurance, she enjoyed many trips with Claude to Orange, Alabama, Florida and other States. Being a huge Elvis fan, a trip to Graceland was a highlight. She also had fun with Linda and friends at Northport for girl weekends. She loved the movies with friend Vicki and going to craft shows. She enjoyed her flower garden and hummingbirds.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Gorsline Runciman Tiffany Chapel, 3232 W. Saginaw St. with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of Lansing, Stoneleigh Residence.
