Age 95, our loving mother, aunt, and great-aunt was called home to her Lord on April 15, 2015. Born June 18, 1919 in Summerfield Twp., Clare Co., MI. June was a homemaker caring for her home and her family. She enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, and growing flowers, and traveling. She loved life, and wanted to live to age 100 or more. She was a long time member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was a member of the Dames of Delta Red Hat Society.

Surviving are her two daughters, Betty Chandler, and Susan Moore; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends. June was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Donald in 1992; parents, Reuben Eli & Myrtie May Austin; four sisters, Ines henry, Unis Austin, Bernice Austin, and Lois Craine; three brothers, Willis Austin, Russell Austin, and Levi Austin.

Visitation is from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Saturday at church with services 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 18, at Bethel Baptist Church, 810 Edgemont, Lansing with Pastor Clive Ellis officiating. Interment will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 20, in Deepdale Memorial Park. Special Thanks to June's caregivers: Renee Pohl, Tina Tatro, Carol Reed, Barb Barcley, Connie Chandler, Debbie Milner, Linda Taylor and Melvin Spayde, and the staff of Clarebridge of Delta and Tendercare West.
