

"Mr. T"
of Lansing, MichiganAge 85, our loving father, grandfather, friend, and educator passed away November 30, 2008 at his home. Born February 20, 1923 in Flint, MI. Karel was disabled veteran serving with the U.S. Army Air Corp in WW II. He was longtime Educator in the Lansing School District teaching Industrial Arts ? Medal Shop and later teaching vocational drafting at Harry Hill High School. He was very active in sports programs and help with various duties in the sports program at J.W. Sexton High School. He was respected by his students and they affectionately called him ?Mr. T?. Past students often kept in touch with Mr. T. long after finishing high school.
Karel was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Elizabeth; parents Frank & Edna; 2 sister, Janet and Vlasta. Surviving are his 3 sons, Karel F. (Cathy) Taborsky, II, Peter M. (Sara) Taborsky, and Lane B. (Beverly) Taborsky; 4 grandchildren, Maya Leigh, Jillian Elle, Noah Ian and Maxwell Hale Taborsky; close friends, Dorothy Potter, and Virgina Burns.
Visitation is from 2-4, 6-8 P.M. Tuesday and 6-7 P.M. Wednesday with services 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 3, in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing.
