LeAnn Marie Hammer

LeAnn Marie Hammer was born on January 30, 1970 in Lansing, Michigan. She passed away peacefully on February 14, 2015, surrounded by her family.

LeAnn was known for sending kind and encouraging cards to her many friends. She was always willing to help others, and cared lovingly for her pets.

She worked as a cashier at Lansing Community College Arts and Science food service. She loved her customers – who called her “Princess” – and missed them when she had to quit for health reasons.

Despite her health concerns, her ready smile and cheerful manner were a joy and inspiration to all who knew her. She will be dearly missed by her loved ones and friends, who will miss the chance to make many more wonderful memories with LeAnn.

LeAnn is survived by her brothers, Robert Hammer and Jonathan Hammer; her sister, Leyla Trumbley; her nephews, Michael Anthony Hammer and Daniel Joseph Hammer; her niece, Stephanie Hammer; her adopted father, Martis Goodwin; and her close friend, Trina Croad.

Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Calvary Christian Fellowship, 5324 Millett Hwy. Lansing, MI48917.
