Though your smile is gone forever and your hands we cannot touch. Your memory is our keepsake with which we will never part. God has you in his keeping, we have you in our hearts. It is sad to walk the road without you. Instead of side by side. But to all there comes a moment when the ways of life divide. You gave us years of happiness, then came sorrow and tears. But you left us beautiful memories, we will treasure through the years.

Si you will be greatly missed by all that knew you. At church your spot on the front row seat, to smile and greet people when they would walk in the door, your warm hand shake and a hug. My memories of Uncle Si are of a gentle, industrious man who loved photography and seemed to dress more hip than me no matter his age.  I saw something an individual wrote a few months ago that stuck with me.  He said something like 'if we could wrap our minds around eternity, it wouldn't hurt so bad.'  My prayers and thoughts are with you.

The things I remember about Si is he always had a smile on his face when he would greet you at church or out in public. An always was kind and loving person. I know this we will see him again one day in heaven. My thoughts an prayors are with the family.

I will always remember being in the hospital and not being able to stay awake and talk to Si and Frances when they came to visit. When I made it back to church the first thing Si said to me was, "Are you awake?" He was a sweet gentle man with a great sense of humor and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. R.I.P my dear friend.

Can't adequately convey the blessing that Si was to us during our years at Mount Hope Church. He was faithful, committed and never at a loss for an opinion! He showed his love for God through his service to Kingdom endeavors.
I am sure his fellow MHC volunteer Andy DeWaele was there at the gates of Heaven to welcome him and find something to argue with him about like the exact width of the streets of gold!
Si, you enriched my life and made a difference in this world. Rest in peace, my friend
