Linda Kay Doerr

She married the love of her life Larry Doerr on September 12, 1964. They celebrated 49 years of happiness. Together they had 5 beautiful children. Larry (Cindi) Doerr, Laurie Thomas, Lowell (Christy) Doerr, Larene (Andy) Spitzley & Lucas Doerr. Her grandchildren Taylor, Kayla, Larry, Nicolas, Gabby, Heather, Jason, Ryan, Nicole, Larene, Andrew, Noah and great grandchildren Justin, Jeffrey, Chloe & Shaun were the light of her life.

Linda was best known for her amazing voice that so many were able to enjoy. Linda, along with her husband Larry, formed the country music band Larry and the Legends. She had a love for bingo and playing cards and was the most amazing cook where she worked at her mom’s restaurant in Grand Ledge called Irene’s Family Restaurant.

She will be greatly missed by her siblings, Joan Lehman, Kate (Don) Hietamaki, Robin Cook, Doug (Carol) Morse, Jeff (April) Morse, Kim (Jeremy) Guild, Denise Morse; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and by her very best friends Darlene & Mike Macphee.

She was preceded in death by her parents Irene & Don Morse, son-in-law Herman Thomas, sister Sue Pulver and brother Mike Morse.

Services will be Saturday January 25th. Visitation will be from 3:00-4:00 followed by a memorial service at 4:00. There will be a luncheon following the service at Life Christian Church in Lansing.
