Margaret “Peggy” Ann Kersey passed away on October 16, 2013, in Huntsville, NC. Margaret was born, October 6, 1938 to George and Odessa (Spangle) Miller. Surviving to cherish her memory are Daughter Michelle, son, Durand, and grandchildren Anthony, Sonia, Daniel, Raul, Maria and Gamaliel; and great-grandchildren Oliver and Malik.
Margaret retired from the Michigan Department of Corrections after 25 years of service on October 30, 2000. She attended Ball State University and Lansing Community College. She served as a volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House. She was a member of UAW local 6000.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Noon, Friday, October 25, 2013 at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 900 East Michigan Avenue, Lansing, MI 48911. The family will receive guests one hour prior to the service. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, East Lansing.
