I am so sad to hear of Marlene's passing.  I have known her for many years from her time in Colorado.  I loved her sense of humor and kind ways.  She will be missed.  Sending blessings to Leanne and Sean and to all of the family. 

Marlene was a long time friend. We met in high school when she moved to Mason. We had some good times, good laughs, & serious talks. Great days out doing something, or just having lunch with just the two of us or two or three other friends along too.    Those memories and her friendship will always be cherished.                     Marlene will be dearly missed. 





Marlene, my friend from many years ago. My friend again later in life. She could make me laugh and wince almost simultaneously with her quick witted banter. She will be missed.

Marlene was truly a bright spot amongst the darkest of life's clouds. We met several yrs ago doing the same family tree. Forever in my heart, my Sister of soul!
 

 **We met so very long ago, doing a mutual interest of family finds,

the connection so much more than common relation, that binds!

  Soon realized a sistership formed, with an amazing caring shared,

support through the years of talking, with so much love truly cared!

  Then a battle came on for you, and I did my best to show support,

suddenly my right to contact was taken away, but no way a total abort!

  Finally free and back to reaching you again, after the longest felt time,

little did we know only months left before another health's crime!

  Now I can only hope and pray, that peace and comfort you will finally get,

it's so difficult not to see you, and tell you I won't ever let go or forget we met!

  Take with you my love and care, as you go your final journey coming up fast,

forever and always your memory will be with me, until our finding again at last!**

I've known Marlene since we were 15 years old.  'Life' got in the way for a time after graduation, but when we reconnected, it was as if the lost years had never happened.  So many things have been shared, from cooking, to cross stitch, to more emotional ups and downs than could be counted.  The emptiness her passing leaves cannot be measured and I will miss her dearly.



So many memories I have with Marlene. 32 years ago I moved down the street from Marlene. I put an ad on the bulletin board at our kid's elementary school that I needed a volunteer for a Co-leader for a Brownie troop. Marlene replied yes sure I will. We just clicked and have been friends every since. She would do anything for anyone. We have been on many trips and adventures together. Anytime I would call her to ask if she wanted to go anywhere she was always game for anything.Marlene has spent many Holidays with myself and my Family over the years and my Kids just love her... You will be missed. Fly High my dear Friend
