Mr. Marshall Joffre Taplin was born June 17, 1923 and departed this life on December 9, 2014. He retired from General Motors as an engineer. He was passionate about working on cars and helping others in need. He was a long time member of Paradise Missionary Baptist Church. He loved to watch sports.
Mr. Taplin was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter. He leaves to mourn his loss, 2 sons, Marshall Jr. and Raymond Taplin of Atlanta, GA, 2 daughters, Mrs. Darla (Morris) Garner of Lansing, MI, Ava Bryson of New York, 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
There will be a joint service with his wife Juanita Taplin at Tiffany Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 12:00 PM.
