Martha Jane Goins

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Mary Gibson of Malta, Ohio. She is survived by her brother, Dean Gibson and sister, Betty Dabney of Columbus, Ohio; her spouse, Gerald Goins and children Faith Penner (Bill), Mark Goins and Andrew Goins of Lansing, Michigan.

A mother’s love is a light our very soul

To have a Godly mother is a blessing you well know

Her spirit will never fade away; it lives within your heart

And though she is in heaven now, she’s near to where you are

She has hugged loved ones missed and seen her Savior’s face

She is basking in the light of his loving peace and grace

She has taken a quiet stroll upon those streets of gold

She has touched a crystal sea and seen beauties yet untold

She feels no pain or doubt or fear in the first time she has known

She waits for you until that day you finally make it home

When your race down here is done, and you are caught away

You will know the happiness and glory she knows today

May God make his face to shine on you, while you face this deepest loss

Of a precious, saintly mom who occupies our thoughts

May you remember well the one who gave you life and became your friend

May you keep the faith and rest in hope you will see her again

PROVERBS 31:25-27
