Born June 18, 1917 in Iosco County, MI the daughter of John and DeEtte (Crofoot) Kane, passed away October 26, 2012 at the age of 95. Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wesley R. Bentley, her cherished daughter, Jane Ozanich and 6 siblings. She was a 1934 graduate of Fowlerville High School and was the second oldest living member of that class. Mary, a longtime Lansing resident, was a 50 year member of the Church of the Resurrection as well as a member of the Button Club. She retired from the East Lansing Public Library. She thoroughly enjoyed reading and served as a volunteer for many organizations. She was regarded by her loving family as being the best dinner roll maker and they also loved her sweet rolls. She enjoyed traveling in her younger years with her husband and family. Mary is survived by two sons, Edward (Wendy) Bentley of Greenville, MI, Michael (Bonnie) Bentley of Brighton; son-in-law, Gary Ozanich of DeWitt; 4 grandchildren: Kirk, Matthew, Eric and Antonya, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews to which she was a favorite aunt. A Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Church of the Resurrection, 1531 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing with Parochial Vicar Mark Rutherford officiating. Interment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing. The family will receive visitors on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM with a Rosary service at 7:30 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI.
