Mary Helen Decker

Born February 28, 1923 in Lansing, the daughter of the late Clarence and Cora (Britton) Sherman, passed away June 12, 2013 at the age of 90. Preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Victor Mitchell in 1957; second husband, Donald Decker in 1990; and her daughter, Lynda Mitchell in 1968. Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughters, Vickie (David) Geisenhaver of Potterville, Nancy (Wayne) Baker of San Diego, CA, Tina (Mark) Andrews of Dimondale, and Cindy (Patrick) Canfield of San Diego, CA; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Mary enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles’, playing cards with friends and family, Spartan Basketball and Tiger Baseball. Mary will be remembered for her love and fierce devotion for her family. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 16th from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing.
