Pegg spent over 40 years in the healthcare field nursing was her passion. She worked in local hospitals and as an office nurse for Dr. Robert C. Shaft, but she was especially proud to have been on a poster board with Governor Romney celebrating “Nurses Month” in the 1960’s. She loved crocheting and gave Afghans to all of her family, but traveling and spending time in Florida was her gift to herself after retirement. Watching the Tigers during spring training was her favorite outing. Her nursing was utilized often after retirement and in private life. Her most cherished part of her life was her family. She will be missed for her never ending love, her care always ready and her strength everlasting.
