Merrill “Lynn” Sanders was born January 2, 1950 in Lansing, MI. and passed away Friday March 16, 2012 at age 62. He will always be remembered for his positive attitude and smiling face. Lynn was a very dedicated, caring and giving man. His joy in life came from spending time with family and friends. Whatever was going on around him you could depend on him to be part of it. He is preceded in death by his mother Margaret VanAlstine (Reed); brother Vernon Sanders; and Niece Michelle Sanders. Surviving are his children: Tonya (Jason) Harris, Garret (Gracie) Peterman, and Miranda Peterman; brother Michael (Karen) Sanders and brother James “Delbert” VanAlstine. Lynn has 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Thursday at 10:00a.m. Family arriving at 9:00a.m.for visitation at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes.
