Michael "Mike" Christopher Sump

Mike was born at St. Lawrence Hospital in Lansing, Michigan on April 22, 1985 to Lori (Graham) Sump. He resided in Okemos, Michigan before moving to the Bath/East Lansing area. Mike was a line cook at the Brookshire Inn and Golf Club for 17 years before taking employment at Stillwater Grill.

Mike loved music, movies, television, games, and all things pop culture. He loved and lived his life through music. If he ever needed to express something, chances are he had a song for just that purpose. He worked hard and loved those close to him even harder. Mike was the happiest when he was playing a video game, listening to music, spending time with his niece and nephew, or working on his fantasy football team. He will be sorely missed and his memory forever cherished by all those who knew and loved him.

Mike is survived by his mother, Lori Sump; brother, Matthew Sump; sister, Christina Matson; brother-in-law, John Matson II; aunt, Deborah Graham; uncle, Dan Graham; niece, October Matson; nephew, Giovanni Matson; and best friends, Matthew Hasso and Brandon Hasso. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald Graham; grandmother, Georgia Graham; and nephew, Lucas Sump.
