Michael "Mike" Lynn Tabor

Michael "Mike" Lynn Tabor, age 76, passed away in the comfort of his home, on Saturday, August 7, 2021. Mike was born on June 11, 1945 in Lucasville, Ohio to Allen and Lily Tabor. He graduated from Remus High School in Remus, Michigan. Mike worked for Canadian National and Grand Trunk Railroad for 38 years, retiring in 2005.

There was nothing Mike LOVED more than having a house full of family. He also enjoyed woodworking, crossword puzzles, music and traveling.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Lisa Marie, mother in law, brother in law, sister in law, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

Mike is survived by the family he loved and cherished. His wife of 57 years Barbara, daughters Tammy (Tom) Spitzley of Westphalia, Kelly (David) Holey of Lansing, and son Michael Tabor of Lansing, sister Juanita Smith, brothers Buddy (Brenda) Tabor, Sandy (Sharyn) Tabor, and Rudy Tabor, along with 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, numerous brothers- and sisters-in-laws nieces, nephews, and close friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make donations to Special Olympics of Michigan and Heartland Hospice.
