Dear Mrs Miller, I just got the notice about Michelles's death and can't belive it happend to her. My heart is broken in many pieces. I'll pray to God to bless her and your family every day and give you the necessary confort to keep walking without.

Forgive me for the many problems I caused for you all because of the stupid thing I did wen I came back to Brazil in 1993. I'll still trying to fix it for all my life, I'll never give it up.

I had a dream with Michelle couple months ago. She gave me a hug and told me that she forgive me and I start crying.

I met Michelle when she lived here in Brazil. She learned Portuguese very quicky and she had no accent. Amazing!!! At that time Nilo and I were dating. She loved my country. She visited our farm and met my family too. We had a wonderful time there. She likde every food my mom cooked, everybody and everything. Some other time, she came to my marriage party. Later, she came to Paula´s 1st birthday, our daughter. The years passed and I could hardly believe when she told me about the tumor. And now.... I cannot believe she´s not among us anymore... So sad!!! A message for you: Michelle, you will always be in our (Nilo and I) hearts and once again we´ll meet you, but on the other side of life.

From our first day of kindergarten together, Michelle has been a source of joy and laughter. Even though I left Haslett in 1986, Michelle had a wonderful way of popping back into my life (at the Chicago Crate & Barrel w/ her mom and Brenda during Xmas shopping, via email when I was a "lost alum" before Reunion). I send you my love and deepest sympathy in remembrance of life very well lived.

I met Michelle in Chicago. We both were walking our adorable dogs and realized that we both live in the same building. We had weekly dinners together watching our favorite reality shows. She was an amazing person,a wonderful friend, courageous woman and an adventurer. She was one of the bravest person I've ever met. I will miss her dearly.

Many of my best high school memories include Michelle. She was unique and special in so many ways...an awesome testimony to the God who created her. At our reunion, Michelle, Laurie, Leanne, and I all danced together. Maybe someday we will dance on the streets of heaven together. May God comfort you, her family, during this time of great loss.

Michelle was an extrodnary person who accomplished so much during her all but to short life. May her memmory be one based on how she lived and excelled at all that she did. She loved her mom who cared for her from birth to death. The world is a better place because of her life. Truly, a life well lived.

Michelle changed my life. I met her on my first SAP project right out of college. I was scared, shy and incompetent. She was smart, assertive, fearless and hilarious. I was captured by her. We spent some very memorable and amazing time living 2 blocks awy from each other in Chicago. We were all in our 20s - young, fun and curious. I miss you, my dear friend. You were absolutely amazing and I know I will never find another precious friend like you. You will always be in my heart. Love you lots.

Michelle was, absolutly, one of a kind. She was my guest for 3 months at her first visit to Brazil and, amazingly, she learned portugues (very difficult language) perfectly, with no accent. I am very proud to have known her, been able to be her friend, and will always remember the strong, determined person and good friend she was.

I met Michelle through Adrienne in Chicago in 1997 and continued to be friends with her through out the years. I have many fun and crazy memories with her that I will hold dear and still make me laugh. While she was very intelligent, and excelled in multiple fields in her professional life (which alone is inspirational), she was also witty, humorous and just enjoyed life which made her fun to be around. I have committed to myself to be more fun and whimsical in her memory to honor this legacy that made such an impact on me.

Although we didn't have a chance to get to know Michelle too well over the past few months, we were so tickled to look out our kitchen window each day and see her and Josie out in the front yard or out for a walk. They helped make our Cul-de-Sac bright & cheery!! We miss both of them! Our deepest sympathy and prayers that God will lift you and keep you always. Love, Mary & Bryan Torok

My thoughts are prayers are with the family and friends of Michelle.

It´s been hard to believe she is gone, knowing that I will never meet her again hurts deeply. She was very special and was always present at the most important times of my life. When I lived in US she was very important for keeping me there. When I got married she was there (even in the honeymoon she came along). She was there when I gave birth to my children and when I got sick...It is going to be difficult to realize she won´t be around anymore.

What a courageous spirit that travels on to a better place! I know Michelle already has the other angels cracking up with her personality and humor about anything and everything. You never know why you meet certain people and what they will leave with you when they're gone. I can definitely say, something I probably never shared with Michelle, that she showed me that being fierce and a conqueror requires you to walk with the confidence that you can achieve the impossible. Her fight and focus despite receiving news of her diagnosis was one of the things that kept me optimistic when we were studying for the bar. I will be eternally thankful to her for that. I pray that the Lord will keep all of her loved ones and friends in His perfect peace.

I admired Michelle for her tenacity, intelligence and ability to achieve any goal she set her mind on completing. She was fun to work with and a truly amazing friend who will always be a part of my life. Although, I?ll miss her, I know she is doing much better in God?s care and I?m sure her light is even brighter in heaven as it was on earth. From the Zamora family, all our love, peace and prayers to Michelle and her family.

Michelle was our first cousin on my mother's side of the family. Michelle was so talented and intelligent, we admired her quiet strength. From an early age she seemed to conquer so many difficult opportunities and challenges with ease. She was so worldly at such an early age, learning so many different languages as she travelled. Our only regret is that we wish we would have known her better. She will be missed by so many people. Bless Mary Jane, Brenda and their families for their difficult loss.

This quote sums up Michelle! A kind, loving person but most of all she made me laugh. Her endless positive spirit always bright and smiling! I have awesome memories growing up with Michelle- especially our "made-up" dance routines/parties in our rooms. Thanks Michelle for being a bright memory in my heart!
