Mike Horning

Age 58, passed away at his home Thursday, March 18, 2010 following a courageous battle with cancer. Mike was born March 13, 1952 in Cadillac, MI. He enjoyed sailboats, traveling, warm weather, beaches, and bringing laughter with his unique sense of humor. His true passion was his family. Mike is preceded in death by his loving wife of 28 years Diane Horning, stepfather Richard Thornton, and mother-in-law Monica Schneider. Surviving are his daughters Lisa (Juan) Chavez and Kristin Horning; grandchildren Spencer Horning and Ellianna Chavez; his mother Sue Cussans; father-in-law Edgar Schneider; sisters-in-law Linda Richards, Audrey (Greg) Hoffman, Julia (Matt) Gaffney; brother-in-law David Schneider; special friend Nancy, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Liturgy is 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 20, 2010, Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing, followed by interment at S. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
