Monica M. Sanders

Age 84, our loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend went home to our Lord on February 23, 2018. Born May 15, 1933 in Westphalia, Michigan. Monica retired from the Maynard-Allen State Bank in Westphalia, MI as manager after many years of service. She was a skilled bowler, winning many trophies. She liked reading the newspaper, cooking and baking.

Surviving are her son, Timothy Fred Sanders; her 2 grandsons, Gabriel Louis Sanders (Age 10) and Nikolas Fred Sanders (Age 7); 2 sisters, Connie Koster and Marie Reynolds; dear friend, Erma J. Beattie; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Monica was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Fred Sanders; parents Louis J. Koster and Oliva C. (Trierweiler) Koster; 3 brothers, Paul, James, and William.

MONICA'S FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FAMILY AND FREINDS FROM 12:00 Noon to 1:00 P.M. FRIDAY AT CHURCH WITH THE MEMORIAL FUNERAL LITURGY AT 1:00 P.M. FRIDAY, MARCH 2, 2018 AT ST. THERESE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 102 WEST RANDOLPH, LANSING, MICHIGAN 48906 with Fr. John Fain presiding. Contributions may be made to Mother Teresa House in memory of Monica M. Sanders.
