Myrtie G. Chandler, 82, of Mason, Michigan, passed away June 28, 2014. She was born on February 29, 1932 in Franklin County, Alabama to the late Robert and Ollie (Cowart) Smith. Myrtie retired as a cashier from Meijer. She enjoyed playing bingo and helping people at Jefferson Square. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Myrtie was preceded in death by her son, James Chandler, in 1985. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Linda Sipes and Jeff Chandler; grandchildren: Douglas, Kristy, Michelle, Mike, Bobby, Heather, and Brandy; great-grandchildren: Rachel, Alyssa, Kara, Joel, Matthew, and Nathan; and great-great-grandson, Jenson.
