Nancy Walker

Age 77, our loving mother and grandmother went home to the Lord on June 29, 2011. Born July 18, 1933 in Flint, MI. Nancy retired from So-Fro Fabrics. She was a life member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She loved gardening, knitting, sewing, crossword puzzles, and watching M.S.U. sports.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Walker in 1998; parents, Walter & Marian Geeting; brother, Ned Geeting, and infant sister, Jan Geeting. Surviving are her 3 children, Jeffrey (Toni) Walker, Tamara L. Walker, and Glen (Stacy) Walker; 4 grandchildren, Justin Walker, Chelsea Walker, Alexis Falcon, and Chelsea Falcon; sister, Judy (William) Watson; brother, Daniel (Susan) Geeting; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday and 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Friday with funeral services 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 1, 2011 in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing, with Rev. Rae L. Franke of Trinity United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society.
