Neldas whole world was her son Geoany F. Lopez. She was a big advocate for autism awareness. She loved taking him thrift shopping, and to garage sales, and even just a nice card ride with music blasting, while finding good places to eat. When she wasn’t tending to her son she enjoyed arts and crafts, making jewelry and watching scary movies.
Nelda had a huge heart and would bend over backwards to help out where she could. If she had it. It was yours. But she was not to be taken advantage of. She was loyal, always there to listen and offer advice, she told you how it was but never with judgement.
There weren’t many places in Lansing or Grand Rapids that she would go where she would not run into friends who absolutely loved her. She left a mark in this world and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Surviving is her son Geoany F. Lopez, her sister Alisia Stainbrook , brother in law Raymond Stainbrook , and brother Anthony Ramos.
She was preceded in death my her grandmother Tomasa Galvan, her aunt Julia Petrick, and her mother Bartola A. Ramos.
