Patricia A. Sweet

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister went home to be with her Lord on December 20th at the age of 81. Patricia was born October 26, 1931 in Windsor Township the daughter of the late Frederick and Genevieve Buck. She was a great mom, grandma and great grandma and will be remembered for her tremendous love for her family. She was a devout giver; she didn’t have much but would give all she had to anyone in need. She always had an open door to others. She was known as a carpenter, building an addition on to her home and remodeling it herself. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Adelia and Margaret; and brothers, Fred and Ernie. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Pamela (Steve) Reed, Faye Allen, Richard (Cindy) Billips and Nelson “John” Banham; grandchildren, Nicki, Michelle, Mandi, Justin, Courtney, Dillon, Melinda, Joshua, Michael, Melissa, and Connie; twenty great grandchildren; brother, Carl (Dolores) Buck; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, December 22nd at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment will take place at Benton Township Cemetery in Potterville.
