Peggy Ann Chadwell

Peggy A. Chadwell, 77, of Lansing, MI, former resident of Marco Island, FL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 19, 2014. Peggy was born August 31, 1937 to Dean C. and Eleanor E. (Osborn) Walters. She is a 1955 graduate of Lansing Eastern High School where she established many life time friendships.

Peggy worked for Michigan Association of Realtors for several years in Lansing. In 1982 she married Darrell Chadwell, and later moved to Port Charlotte, FL where they both worked as licensed realtors and later resided at the Commodore Club Condominiums on Marco Island, FL.

Peggy was a board member of the Commodore Club, a member of Hammock Bay Golf and Country Club, and Marco Island Yacht and Sailing Club. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends with dinner gatherings.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents. Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband, Darrell; son, Kim Kissee; daughter, Kelley (Marty) Babbitt of Lansing; sister, Dorothea (Doty) Walters; brother, Gordon (Jacquelyn) Walters of Northport, MI; granddaughter, Sarah Kissee; and grandson Justin (Chrystal) Babbitt.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 11:00 am at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave, Lansing MI. Family will receive friends and relatives from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
