

Age 96, passed away on October 30, 2015 at Grandhaven Living Center. Quinten was a resident of Lansing, MI. He was born to Mina Belle (Adams) and Harrison Monroe Wilcox on May 1, 1919. He graduated from Central High in 1938 and worked as a welder/maintenance mechanic at LBWL for 33 years. He also ushered at MSU football games for 50 years, from 1964 – 2015. Quinten enjoyed woodworking, fishing, gardening, bowling, playing horseshoe, and travelling. He spent his winters in Florida for the past 20 years and loved spending quality time with his grandchildren. Quinten was predeceased by his first wife, Helen (Dehn); sisters, Kathryn Pavlik and Pauline Weenick; and a brother, Wendall Wilcox. He is survived by his dear wife of 21 years, Marguerite; daughter, Lorna Sue-Wilcox Imhoff and son, Gary Q. Wilcox (Sally); step-daughters, Nancy Ernsberger (Tom) and June Handloser (Bob); grandchildren, Jennifer Imhoff, Aaron Imhoff (Awilda), Bryan Imhoff (Victoria), Beth Imhoff-O’Neill (Chris), Stefanie Hall, Krista Hatfield (Brian), Tammy Perry, Robert Handloser Jr. (Barb), Lori Mader (Dave), Kerri Clawson, Thomas Ernsberger II (Lisa), and Taryn Coats (Jeremy); and 20 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will take place at 1:00 pm Wednesday, Nov 4, 2015 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI followed by interment at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive visitors and friends from 5-8 pm Tuesday and one hour prior to the service. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Lansing Chapel.
