Richard L. Kroetsch

Lansing, Michigan

Age 66, passed away suddenly August 30, 2014 in Lansing, MI; born April 14, 1948 in Port Huron, MI. He was employed with the Waverly School District for 34 years, retiring in 2010. Richard enjoyed spending time with family and had a special place in his heart for his two granddaughters, Skylar and Saydee. He also enjoyed going to car shows. He was a very caring and giving person, which is evident through his donation to Gift of Life of Michigan to help others. Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Vicki; sons, Andrew (Amanda) Kroetsch and Tyler Kroetsch; grandchildren, Skylar and Saydee Kroetsch; stepfather, Bernard Oles; and brothers, Robert Kroetsch, Eric Oles and Lorin Oles. We would like to give a special thanks to the Miller, Wright, Finney and Hamilton families for their support during this time. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 4:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 East Michigan Avenue, Lansing, MI 48912. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 5, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
