Richard Milton Williams, 89, passed away Monday July 11, 2016 with family at his side. Richard was born in Holt, Michigan to Herbert and Berendina (Edema) Williams on June 24, 1927. Richard went on to marry the love of his life, Bonnie Lou on December 13, 1952. He spent Thirty-Five years working for Consumers Energy until his retirement in 1987. Richard was an active member of the South Baptist Church, where the Lord was the center of his life. Richard was a WWII veteran serving in the United States Army Air Corp. He enjoyed gardening, fixing things, and was a great father, father-in-law and "Papa". He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Richard had a big heart and was a blessing to all who knew him. Richard was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by loving wife Bonnie Lou of 63 years, a son: Brent (Ginger) Williams, daughter Wendy (Dan) Williams: grandchildren: Cali (Brent) Rushton, Zach Williams, Jason (Kasey) Williams and Emily Williams. 4- great grandchildren. a brother Charles Williams and 2 sisters. Betty Lou (Rev Doug) Stimers and Marilynn Rudd. A Celebration of Richard's life will be held with family receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. with services at 6:00 P.M.
