"Bob"

Of Lansing, MichiganBob, age 79 was born in Flint, Michigan on July 16, 1929 and passed away on January 23, 2009 after a short brave battle with cancer.

He retired from Strelinger Industrial Supply Co. after 38 years.

He was preceded in death by 2 sons: Robert Scott and Jeffery Michael. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Eleanor (Ellie), his son Michael (Lori) and his daughters Rhonda (Chris) Haskin and Susan (Steve) Lewis; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Odle. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren: Kathy, Lindsey, Eric (Lorissa), Brian, Nicole, Katie, Kelsey, Jake and 3 great grandchildren; Jake E., Gabe, Emalee and his brother, Edwin Odle.

Bob was an avid bowler and MSU fan. He will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him for his kindness, sense of humor, and most of all his love for his family.

Memorial liturgy will be 11:00 am Tuesday, January 27, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 102 W. Randolph, Lansing with Father Michael Williams presiding. The family will receive friends and family at 10:00-11:00 Tuesday at the Church.

Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Hospice Home Services of Sparrow Hospital. A reception will follow the service.
