Age 71, passed away September 19, 2010 at his home with his family. Born March 18, 1939 in Plainwell, MI. Ron served in the U.S. Army. He was a mechanic and salvage yard owner for many years and always there to help on the weekends. He loved staying active in his families lives by attending their many events. He enjoyed trains. He was always volunteering and helping others, and would always be there to give someone in need a ride. He was a supporter of Boys Town.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Patricia ?Pat? Hyatt; 7 children, John Hyatt, Mary (Larry) Fields, Tim (Nicole) Hyatt, Terry Lee Hyatt, Ronald Lee (Dawn) Hyatt, II, Gerald Paul (Robin) Hyatt, and Kathy (Shane) Hadens; 15 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday October 2, from 3 ? 7 P.M. at the Central Free Methodist Church, 828 N. Washington Ave, Lansing, officiated by pastor Bruce Cromwell.
