Ronald Sanders

Ronald Lee Sanders Haslett Age 82, our loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather lost his battle with COPD on March 1, 2012. ?He is now free? Born May 28, 1929 in Lansing, MI. Ronald retired in 1988 after 37 years of service at Oldsmobile. He was a member and union advocate of the U.A.W. Local #652. He loved hunting and fishing, but he was a master card player. He never met a stranger, and always made friends everywhere. Surviving are his 4 children, Linda(Lester) Neely, Ronald F. Sanders, Janet (Gary) Shue, and Mark (Mary) Sanders; 12 grandchildren, Colin Neely, Jessica (Dave) Gilbert, Laura (Aaron Larson) Shue, Kristina (Steven) Blattert, Sara Shue, Brandon Sanders, Allen Sanders, Nicholas Blank, Alexander Blank, Kyle Blank, Emily Sanders, and Michelle Headley; 8 great-grandchildren; special brother, Arthur Sanders; and many nieces and nephews. Ronald was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Sanders in 2007; daughter, Carol Nickson in 1996; parents Eri & Flossie; sisters, Minnie Scott and Myrna Bates; brother, Lawrence Sanders. Memorial Services will be 11:00 A.M., March 4, 2012, Sunday in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing.
