Rose passed away on December 18, 2012 at the age of 88. She was born on November 6, 1924 to Richard and Cecelia Powers in Bennington, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean in 1974, and her son, Dean II in 2004. She is survived by her daughter, Catherine Florian; 4 grandchildren, Tania (Chris) Vause, Brian (Angie) Florian, Deana Florian, and Jaime Florian; 8 great-grandchildren; her sister, Rita (Powers) Webb; her Godchild, Janet (Dale) Coggins; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass is 11:00 AM Saturday, December 22, 2012 at St. Gerard Catholic Church, 4437 W. Willow, Lansing with Fr. John P. Klein officiating. Visitation will be Friday 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw Street, and one hour prior to the service at the church. There will be no graveside services.
