Ruth Ann Dorsa

Ruthann Dorsa, 82, of Lansing, Michigan, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. A woman of quiet strength, generosity, and unwavering devotion, Ruthann touched the lives of everyone who had the blessing of knowing her.

Born with a caring heart and a steady spirit, Ruthann built a life centered on family. She was the kind of mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who showed her love not only through words, but through the countless ways she gave of herself - a listening ear, a warm meal, a place to feel safe, and wisdom spoken with grace.

Ruthann is survived by her three children, Daniel Hopkins (Diane Hopkins), Ron Hopkins (Kim Hopkins), and Lorie Roebuck, who will forever carry her guidance and love in their hearts.

She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Tiffany Moore, Joey Riojas, Melissa Riojas, Chelsea Hopkins, Bryan Toomay, Ashley Toomey, Katie Toomey, and Emily Beckler; and by her many great-grandchildren, who brought her tremendous joy and pride.

Her legacy lives on through the family she nurtured - a legacy of kindness, resilience, and unconditional love.

Ruthann will be deeply missed, but her memory will remain a lasting light in the lives of those she leaves behind.
