Samuel Victor Bobrofsky

Samuel Victor Bobrofsky, age 78, of Albion, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Samuel was born December 20, 1946 to Albert and Mary (Mackovitz) Bobrofsky. A master electrician for decades, Sam retired from General Motors after several years of service.

He loved the outdoors-fishing, golfing with his best buddies, and tending to his garden. He also enjoyed playing cards with new friends from the gym, "Silver Sneakers".

Sam was preceded in death by his wife, Susan (Stein) Bobrofsky; his parents and brother, Frederick Bobrofsky.

Surviving is his son, Scott (Suzette) Bobrofsky; daughter, Staci Salyers; grandchildren, Steven Huffman, Aaron and Kayla Bobrofsky; Steven, Chrissy and Savannah Salyers; brother, Albert Bobrofsky; sisters, Olga Holden and Marty Smith and many nieces and nephews.

Sam served in the United States Army and was a supporter of many charities that support veterans. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to a charity that supports veterans in honor of Sam.

A Memorial Service for Sam will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 11:00 am at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 East Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48912. The family will receive friends from 10:30 until the time of service.
