Sara Galvan Magana

Sara Galvan Magana of Lansing, MI passed away December 5, 2017 at the age of 89. Sara was born January 17, 1928 in Moore, TX to Refugio and Martina (Garcia) Galvan. She was employed by the Lansing School District for seventeen years, enjoyed traveling and family, and was a member of First Assembly of God-East Lansing. Sara enjoyed her grandchildren immensely.

Sara is preceded in death by husband, Antonio Magana, Sr; son, Teodocio Magana; grandson Marcos Barrera. She is survived by two sons, Eduardo and Antonio (Cindi) Magana Jr.; six daughters, Maria (Gradalupe) Barrera, Carmen (Christopher) Stuchell, Victoria (Beto) Renderos, Sara (Gregory) Shubel, Sandra (Alberto) Chavez, Carolina (Leonel) Suniga; twenty grandchildren; twenty seven great-grandchildren; and 2 brothers.

Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes - DeWitt Chapel, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt, MI 48820. Visitation will be held 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes - DeWitt Chapel and one hour prior to the service.
