went to meet the Lord on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at the age of 59, surrounded by the people who loved her very much. She was born April 5, 1949 in Hazard, Kentucky and was the daughter of Richard and Lucy (Davidson) Taylor. Her eldest son, Brent Edward Hannahs, precedes her in death as well as her father, Richard L. Taylor. Surviving is her beloved husband, Kenneth VanAlstine; loving dog, Gage; sons, Clint and Chad Hannahs; mother, Lucy Taylor; siblings, Helen (Carl) Box, Gerry (Harold) Houseman, Rick (Mary) Taylor, Theresa (Elke) Taylor; grandchildren, Brent, Blake, Cavin, Collin, and Alyssa. Visitation is 4-8pm Friday, January 9, 2009 with Funeral Services 2:00 PM Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 West Saginaw, Lansing 48917.
