Silvia Russell

Born Silvia Cardenas to Luis and Candelaria Cardenas on June 5, 1971; she was the youngest of 6 children. Silvia graduated from Eastern High School in 1991 and married her high school sweetheart and best friend, Joseph Mark Russell; together they have (4) children - Joseph, Matthew, Aloria & Taylor, and (1) grandchild, Isabella. Silvia knew the value of family and cherished it. She enjoyed having fun with family and friends. She was a friend, mother figure and representative of Christ to 100's of children that she ministered to weekly and nothing was more fulfilling to her than serving in Mount Hope Church's Children's Ministry, "Champions Club" alongside her husband, Pastor Mark Russell.

Preceded in death by Rafail and Genoveva Zalazar, Jesus Cardenas; her grandparents. Survived by her Husband, Children, Parents and Grandchild, and her siblings Santos (Robert) Levan, Esmeralda (Robert) Gelista, Luis (Jennifer) Cardenas, Jaime (Yvonne) Cardenas, and David Cardenas. Silvia's family brought her great joy and she loved them dearly.

She will be reunited with her husband, children, parents, brothers, sisters, countless nieces, nephews (and grand nieces and nephews) along with other immediate family residing in Michigan, Arizona, California, Oklahoma Hawaii and Mexico -- all who would accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 PM Monday, December 8, 2014 at Tiffany Funeral Home 3232 West Saginaw St. Lansing, MI 48917.

Funeral will be on Tuesday, Dec. 9th at 11 a.m. at Mount Hope Church, 202 S. Creyts Rd., Lansing, MI 48917.
