Born November 19, 1948, Susan passed away on July 8, 2020. A nurse for 26 years, she retired from Sparrow Hospital in 2007.
Sue was preceded in death by her father, Jack Stein, Sr.; mother, Dorothy (Schmidt) Stein; sister, Jean Anne Cramer and brother, Paul Stein.
She is survived by her husband, Sam; son, Scott (Suzette); daughter, Staci (Steve); grandchildren, Steven Huffman, Aaron and Kayla Bobrofsky, Steven, Chrissy and Savannah Salyers; sister, Barbara (Dale) Schnur; brother, Jack (Denise) Stein, Jr. and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2020, 11 a.m., Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing with social distancing regulations. A luncheon will follow the service at the funeral home.
The family wishes to express their thanks to the many caring staff members at Hospice House of Mid-Michigan who took such loving care of Sue and the family during this most difficult time.
Sue was a supporter of many charities. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to one of your favorite charities or Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, in honor of Sue.
