Sylvia was born in Arkansas then moved to Michigan in 1941 where she resided until her passing. She worked for Wohlert for 27 years retiring in 1975.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Seigo; her parents; daughters, Faustine (Delbert) Hale, Vestine (Eldon) Hale, Phyllis Hughes; brothers, Melvin (Allie May) Hampton, Ezekiel (Flora) Hampton.
Surviving are daughter; Beckie (Jerry) MacKenzie, brother; Ravis (Carol) Hampton, Grandchildren; Chad Perez, Jason MacKenzie, Ryan MacKenzie, great-grandchildren; Jacob Perez, Andrew Shawanibin, and great-great grandchild; Andrew Shawanibin Jr.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 with visitation one hour prior beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave. Lansing, MI.
