Ted J. Lewandowski

Ted was born March 3, 1931, in Denver, Colorado. After 79 years of life the Lord called him home to heaven on September 16, 2010. He attended the University of Colorado, Denver, where he earned his degree in Chemistry. He made his home in Saginaw for over 40 years, where he worked as a chemist at U.S. Graphite. He moved to the Lansing area six years ago.

Ted was united in marriage in 1958 to Dolores Heimsoth, with whom he spent 52 years. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Dewitt. He is survived by his wife Dolores, and their three children, Eilene (Kevin) Kane of Grand Haven, Steven (Linda) Lewandowski of St. Johns and Carol (Tim) Pickott of Eaton Rapids; 4 grandchildren, Kristen, Jon, Allison and Jared.

Funeral Services will be held, Monday, September 20, 11:00 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church in Dewitt, with Rev. Sikora officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Hospice, 3100 B West Road, Ste. 203, East Lansing, MI 48823 or Hope Lutheran Church Building Fund, 1180 W.
