Timothy Allen Ferris

Timothy Allen Ferris of Lansing, Michigan passed away on Friday, April 11th, 2025, at the age of 85. He was born on September 23rd, 1939, in Lansing, Michigan to Harvey and Eileen (Fineout) Ferris. Tim was one of five children. Tim serviced his country in the United States Army. He worked as a machinist at Mellings Drop Forge for over 30 years.

Tim was actively involved in the Fraternal Order of Eagles for 50 years and proudly carried the title of Past Worthy President. He was also a proud member of the American Legion. He loved bowling, golfing, watching NASCAR every Sunday, working on his crystal chandeliers, and taking road trips all over the state to find antique stores to explore.

Tim is survived by his daughters, Annette Ferris, Sherry (James Wynn) Ferris, Lorie White; granddaughter, Erica Ferris; sister, Roma (John) Smith, and several nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joyce Ferris, sisters Joleen Krauss and Janell Smith, and brothers, Kevin Ferris and Eugene Ferris

Visitation for Tim will on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from 2:00-4:00 pm and from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Gorsline Runciman Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Ave. Lansing, Michigan; with a Memorial Service by the Fraternal Order of Eagles at 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be on Thursday, April 17 at 12:00 PM at the Gorsline Runciman Lansing Chapel, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Lansing.

Following the interment, family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Fraternal Order of Eagles 3022 West St. Joe Street Lansing, MI 48917.
