Tonia Lee (Bollman) O’Berry, born July 8, 1940, in Bradford Tennessee, the daughter of, Margie Beauton, (Williams) Prochazka, and Clarence Bollman, passed away August 29, 2013 at the age of 73. She graduated from Holt High School in 1958 and moved to East Lansing where she was working at a drive-in when she met and married Robert Lee Faust. Together they have three daughters. Tonia also worked at Sammy’s Paddock in Holt and Louis Dry Cleaner’s in East Lansing. She then moved to Lansing and married David Lee O’Berry. Tonia went on to Lansing Community College Trade School for 6 years where she earned her Journeymen’s degree. She retired from General Motors after 35 years as the #1 carpenter. Tonia was especially well-known for her piggy banks that she made out of solid blocks of wood, her handcrafted picture frames, and a variety of wood products. She was also quite the hostess and enjoyed making cakes. Tonia liked fireworks and cats and enjoyed watching the birds and critters in the backyard. She was a very unique individual with a very independent spirit. Tonia will live on in our hearts forever. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Rodney Lee Bollman, and daughter, Debra Lee Faust. Surviving to cherish her memory are daughters; Tracy Renee Faust and Alanea Gayle Faust, grandson T.J. Trine and one great grandchild. There will be a graveside service at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens 4444 W. Grand River, Lansing, Michigan.
