Traci passed over to the other side on February 18th around 9 a.m. in her home in Bath, Michigan. Traci was an amazing, one-of-a-kind woman. She was a crafter, rock hound, mushroom hunter, handywoman, once-in-a-lifetime wife and partner of almost 35 years, loving mother, caring daughter, and so much more. Traci loved with every bit of her heart, she cared like no one else could, and she was so uniquely herself at all times. She was loud in the best ways and made sure to fill every space with her energy the moment she stepped into it. Her laugh was contagious; no one could hear that laugh and not join in. She was always the life of the party and the glow of a room. She was the most caring soul anyone could have the pleasure of meeting. Traci lived life to the fullest and made sure she told you she loved you every chance she could. Traci will be deeply missed by so many friends, family members, and all the different people she met along her journey.
Traci is preceded in death by her grandma Menci, mother Genia, and father-in-law Don who were all the first to greet her on the other side.
Traci is survived by her husband, Donald Cornwell. Her four children: Don Cornwell, Brett Cornwell (Joey Mallett), Amanda Cornwell (Katie Smith), and John Cornwell (Kara Cornwell). Her father, Tom Holton Jr. Her three siblings: Tommy Holton III, Tara Ghiselin(Mike Ghiselin), and Trenton Holton (Selena Holton). Her special niece Jastin Brewer and her three beautiful children Tula, Creed, and Lila. Her favorite Uncle J. Along with countless friends, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, in-laws, and so many bonus kids over the years who loved her very much.
In lieu of a memorial, our family has decided to do a celebration of life; a date for that will be released at a later time. In the meantime, we ask that you celebrate Traci’s memory by living life with the same passion, energy, and love that she did.
