Wasyl is survived by his wife of 66 years; Ilyana H. (Horinecky) Pawluk; his son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Sherrie Pawluk; his grandchildren; Zachary Van Vilet, Jacob Van Vilet, and Alivia Williams; and his special fur-grandchild; Sophie.
Waysl will fondly be remembered for his love of card playing, poker with his polish friends, being an amazing chess player and carpenter, and when he and his wife Ilyana took spots as the polka king and queen at polka dancing.
They will forever treasure the memories made from living in Muskegon, Michigan from 1956-2019, and the travels he and Ilyana would take abroad, from Las Vegas to Europe, Hawaii, and fondly remembering the joy from his last trip home to the Ukraine in 1993.
A Visitation for Wasyl will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 East Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48912, followed by a Funeral Service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
Interment will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
