Born on February 22, 1960, in the heart of Clarksdale, Mississippi, WD was the cherished son of WD Martin and Mary Ida Knox, who instilled in him the values of hard work, integrity, and compassion.

WD's journey through life was marked by his unwavering spirit and dedication to service. At a young age, he enlisted in the National Guard, where he proudly served his country with honor and distinction. His time in the military was a testament to his selflessness and commitment to the greater good, values that he carried into every aspect of his life.
