William was a proud Spartan, having graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Arts and Letters. He had an deep love for books, often losing himself in novels and poetry on a comfy chair. William's family was his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He loved taking his children to the park and the pool, going on road trips, picking out new shoes, supporting their ideas, and adventuring together. His adventurous nature always encouraged his children to be themselves and live a life that made them happy above all else because their happiness and well-being were what he cared about most.
An adventurer at heart, William's zest for life was evident in his hobbies. He loved hiking, rock climbing, skateboarding, and practicing yoga. Whether scaling a rock, walking through a botanical garden, or gliding on his electric skateboard, he embraced each day with joy and a sense of wonder.
William had a huge heart for Jesus, his family, and adventure. His faith was unwavering, and even after suffering a massive stroke, he never gave up. His perseverance, trust in Jesus, and commitment to his family were truly inspiring.
William shared a special bond with his brother Bryan. They were not just brothers but best friends, enjoying countless hours watching movies, cracking jokes, and supporting each other through life's many seasons. Their relationship was a testament to the strength and love that family can provide.
He is lovingly remembered by his brother Bryan Gray, and is preceded in death by his brother Robert Gray.
