Wilma J. Durham

Wilma was born in St. Johns, Michigan. She was married on February 17, 1951 in Howell, MI and divorced on December 2, 1976 in Lansing, MI. Shortly after, Wilma completed her G.E.D. on January 4, 1977. She retired from MESSA as an underwriter. Wilma was an exceptional mother to her 4 children and a proud grandmother and great grandmother. She will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew her.

Wilma was the loving mother of John Durham, Beth (William) Christopher, Cheryl Hicks and Doris (Richard) Humes; cherished grandmother of Michael Christopher, Jonathon Durham, William Christopher, Joseph Hicks, Mathew Hicks, David Durham, Jason Christopher, Greggory Hicks, Justin Durham, Richard Humes III, Andrew Humes, Scott Humes and Cassandra Humes; great grandmother of 20; dear sister of LeRoy Goucher, Luella Martin, William Goucher, Wayne Goucher and Lylliss Clay; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews; and mother-in-law of Joe Hicks.

A visitation for Wilma will be held on Monday, October 24th from 6pm to 8pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home 900 E Michigan Ave Lansing, MI 48912. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 25th at 1:00pm with a visitation one hour prior at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
