Age 86 went to be with her Lord on Monday, November 14, 2011. She was born on September 18, 1925 in Lansing. She married Glenn Landfair on June 17, 1944. Peg was a 1944 graduate of Everett High School and was one of the founding members of the Everett Alumni Association. She had worked at the YWCA of Lansing and Holt Public Schools. Peg enjoyed making rag rugs and her legendary raisin filled cookies. Most of all Peg was devoted to her family and her Lord. She is survived by her husband of 5 years, Dareld Cunningham of Dimondale; sons, Tim (Judy) Landfair of Holt, Jim (Kay) Landfair of Kalamazoo; step-children, Yvonne (Larry) Baker of DeForest, WI, Nancy Cunningham of Lansing, Chris Cunningham of Dimondale and Gary Cunningham of Potterville; grandchildren, Jamie (Jason), Leann (Charles), Jeremy (Sirena), Matthew (Ann), Jennifer, Andy (Kayde), Tony, Lara, Steve, Brian (Doreen) and Brian; great grandchildren, Tony, Gavin, Katie, Ryan, Tyson, Abby, Kenny, Savannah and Shaniah; brother, Bing (Lois) Shaver of Mecosta, MI and niece (who was more like a sister or daughter) Jannelle (Dave) Townsend of Lansing. Peg was preceded in death by: parents, Wilbur and Hattie Shaver; husband of 47 years, Glenn Landfair; brother, Jim Shaver; sisters, Almeda, Ora and Doris. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Community Baptist Church of Lansing, 7832 W. Mt. Hope, Grand Ledge, with Pastor Timothy Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave. and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
