Albert Lap Kwan Choi

Albert's journey was one of resilience, adventure, and accomplishment. He graduated from Duan Hua High School in Cambodia and later earned an Associate Degree from Laney College in Oakland, California. On October 12th, 1971, he married the love of his life, Kim Diep Choi, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories and adventures.

Albert's professional journey began in his father's shipping company in Cambodia and Vietnam before he embarked on a new chapter in the United States. He started his career in contract furniture with Hayes Furniture Mfg and later co-founded Bay Concepts, Inc., a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to his craft.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Albert lived life to the fullest. He had a passion for travel, exploring foreign lands, embarking on ocean cruises, and taking road trips across the United States and Canada, often accompanied by his beloved granddaughters. Albert and Kim shared a love for ballroom dancing, attending weekly dances together, where they created cherished memories on the dance floor.

Albert Choi leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and adventure. He is survived by his devoted wife, Kim Choi; his loving children, Andy Choi and Sophia Choi; his adoring grandchildren, Hayden Choi, Peyton Choi, Hannah Berman, Mia Berman, and Alani Berman; and his dear siblings, Edison Choi, Roy Choi, Benny Thai, Matthew Choi, Terry Lum, and Katie Pon.

In honoring Albert's memory, let us celebrate a life well-lived, filled with passion, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to family and adventure. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew him.
